Busan International Ocean Marathon to be held on 6 October | Stripes Korea
The Busan International Ocean Marathon will take place on 6 October
Runners from around the world will gather for the 2019 Busan International Ocean Marathon on October 6.
The sports festival attracts attention because of the scenic track that runs across Busan's three major sea bridges - Gwangan Bridge, Busan Harbor Bridge and Namhang Bridge.
The Ocean Marathon event includes a half marathon, 10 and 5 km tracks, the last two of which are only for the Gwangan Bridge due to the short distance. Only a half marathon allows you to run all three bridges.
Both shorter tracks start at Gwangan Bridge, while the half marathon starts from BEXCO before the three bridges start. It ends at Songdo Beach.
In addition to parades and starting line air performances, the cosplay area, high-five / photo zones and a wrapping party for 5 and 10 kilometer runners will also make the event memorable.- Entry fee: 20,000 won 5K, 30,000 won 10K and 40,000 won the half marathon for the track.
- How to apply: applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis at marathon.busan.com. until 27 September.
